About Nataliya

Nataliya is a ceramic artist based in Venice Beach, CA where she makes her art & teaches pottery workshops at small businesses around the neighborhood.

Her ceramics journey started with taking a wheel throwing class on weeknights after spending her days at a strategy job in big tech. What began as a hobby has grown into Handmade in Venice Beach, a brand behind Nataliya's art & community.

In addition to her own creative journey, Nataliya loves inspiring creativity in others in her beginner-friendly ceramics workshops. She teaches her workshops at small businesses around Venice to help foster community & connection through art.

Since leaving corporate world in early 2024, she was able to fully focus on HMVB having hosted over 100 workshops featuring various themes and inspiring her community to create thousands pieces of ceramic art.

Workshops

Nataliya's workshops are social, interactive and absolutely beginner-friendly! Great to come with friends/family or by yourself.

She teaches pottery (both open play & themed) & modern Kintsugi workshops consistently. The events are hosted at local businesses (restaurants & coffee shops) in Venice Beach, Santa Monica, West Hollywood & Malibu.

She also hosts private events (parties, corporate events, team building, retreats, etc)

Much of Nataliya's art is about making functional objects like mugs & bowls into art pieces. She finds inspiration in her neighborhood’s beautiful beaches & free artistic spirit.

Nataliya also works with spaces/brands to design their own unique stoneware.
