Handmade in Venice Beach is an art experiences company bringing people together through creativity. Founded by Venice Beach ceramic artist Nataliya, HMVB hosts beginner-friendly pottery, Kintsugi and resin workshops at some of our favorite small businesses across Venice Beach and Los Angeles.

What started with Nataliya taking a wheel-throwing class in the evenings while working in big tech grew into a creative practice — and eventually, Handmade in Venice Beach.

Today, Nataliya and a small team of instructors host hands-on workshops designed to make creating feel social, approachable and fun. Since 2024, HMVB has welcomed more than 4,000 guests through public workshops, private events and brand experiences across Los Angeles.

At the heart of HMVB is a simple idea: creativity is better together. By partnering with local restaurants, cafés and other neighborhood spaces, our workshops bring people together while supporting the businesses that make LA's communities special.

Much of Nataliya's art is about making functional objects like mugs & bowls into art pieces. She finds inspiration in her neighborhood’s beautiful beaches & free artistic spirit.

Nataliya also works with spaces/brands to design their own unique stoneware.
