1.  Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily choose to participate in an art workshop hosted by Handmade in Venice Beach ("HMVB"). I understand that art workshops involve working with materials that may cause skin, eye, or respiratory sensitivity in some people. I've read the safety information provided, and I'm choosing to participate knowing and accepting these risks. HIVB isn't a medical provider, and I'm responsible for checking with my doctor if I have any concerns about working with art materials.

2.  Clothing & Personal Property

I understand and accept that resin, pigments, and other art materials used during the workshop may permanently stain or damage clothing, shoes, accessories, and other personal belongings. I accept full responsibility for protecting my personal property, and I agree that HMVB is not liable for any staining, damage, or loss of personal items during or after the workshop.

3.  Artwork Handling & Transport

I understand that completed resin pieces require careful handling and adequate cure time to harden properly. Any artwork transported by me, a guest, or any third party not directly employed by HMVB is transported entirely at my own risk. HMVB is not responsible for any damage, breakage, deformation, staining, or deterioration of artwork once it has left the care and custody of HMVB staff.

4.  Photo & Video Release

I grant HMVB and its owner, staff, and authorized representatives permission to photograph, video record, or otherwise capture workshop sessions, including images of participants and their artwork, for use on social media platforms, websites, marketing materials, and promotional content. If I do NOT consent to being photographed or recorded, I must notify HMVB in writing prior to the start of the event.

5.  Minors

If I am signing this form on behalf of a participant under the age of 18, I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of that minor and that I have the legal authority to execute this release on their behalf. I agree to all terms herein on behalf of the minor participant and myself.
