August 16 | ✈️🏡 Places/Memories Preserved Tray Workshop @ Alana's Coffee

Join us for our most personal workshop yet!

Create a one-of-a-kind resin tray (~12 × 8") inspired by a place, person, or memory that means something to you.

📍🕑 Sunday August 16 | 3 PM @  Alana's Coffee  (2524 Pacific Ave - please note they have multiple locations)

We'll provide pressed florals, herbs, letters, beads, quotes, and a curated selection of decorative elements, but the heart of your tray will be the keepsakes you bring.

+ will have items from local Venice beach businesses 

Bring 5–15 small, mostly flat items (under ¼") that tell your story. Think ticket stubs, boarding passes, matchbooks, photos, postcards, receipts, coffee sleeves, pressed flowers, shells, maps, handwritten notes, or tiny souvenirs—anything that instantly takes you back to a meaningful moment.

Your tray might celebrate:

What to expect in a workshop 

Vibes

Please note we will be at the Venice location (not Mar Vista), address & link above. Parking can be a bit tricky close to the beach so allow for extra time.

In this hands-on workshop, I will walk you through the basics of working with epoxy resin—how to mix, pour, and layer your design + the approach I use for arranging my art. You'll make a unique functional art piece. Perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike.

• Come solo or bring a friend—this is a super fun and relaxing way to tap into your creative side
• You will take your liquid-ish tray home in a mold & pour the top layer at home that evening once your design is set — it will be ready for use in 24-48 hours. Since resin is still in its curing stage for up to 4 hours after pouring, please make sure to keep your mold flat and stable on the journey home to prevent any shifting or distortion (especially for longer commutes).
• If you have a longer drive, we recommend planning for a bit of extra time after the workshop to let your design cure 

If you have photographs, you would like to include, bring those with (they can be included in your design as well). 

Bring your imagination & memories to include in the tray ✨
