*Parking can be a bit tricky close to the beach so allow for extra time (there is a paid lot on s. Venice & Pacific and plenty of parking in a residential neighborhood east of Venice Canals ~12 min walk)
Inspired by Kintsugi, the ancient Japanese art of golden repair, turns broken ceramics into stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces—because flaws aren’t flaws, they’re part of the story.
In this class, you’ll learn a modern, beginner-friendly Kintsugi inspired technique using easy-to-work-with adhesives and brass powder (variety of metallic hues available) to bring a broken plate or art piece back to life. No waiting for days—this method dries quickly and is hypoallergenic, making it perfect for decorative ceramics (just not for food use).
We will have a choice to break & repair a small bowl or plate. There is limited # of handmade pieces available and you also have an option to bring your own piece (if you do please check with me in advance).
